Waveney Heritage Centre

When the school closed, Brockdish people were determined to keep the site intact as a centre for the community. They  were supported by Diocese of Norwich, the owners of the building and by the rector Rev Nigel Tufnell, a trustee. The intention was to ensure that the building would continue as a community  asset, enhancing understanding and appreciation of the area  and providing a place for learning, relaxation and friendship.

We are achieving this by ensuring that we provide a wide range of talks and events, visits to places of interest and access to social activities such as gardening, books, table tennis, snooker and boules. We are always open to  suggestions relating to further expanding our range!
